Four bedrooms - 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single. One double is on the ground-floor next to a bathroom - ideal for those who prfefer to avoid stairs. Log fire, television, DVD and hi-fi in living room; Aga (and ordinary electric cooker) in kitchen; Antique refrectory table in dining room; Wendy house in garden;and a funky master bathroom.

Situated on the edge of a friendly village with farm shop and pub-restaurant, in the country of Hardy novels, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just off the Wessex ridgeway path, set in gentle hills.

The coast, ancient abbeys and castles, wonderful gardens, lovely old towns, and even a tank museum are all within a half hour drive.

* Greygles is old Dorset for bluebells. In spring they abound in the local woods.

By Road:
From M3 junction 8 A303 to exit near Andover onto A343 to Salisbury. A354 to Blandford Forum and on towards Dorchester. At Winterbourne Whitechurch, right at Milton Arms through Milton Abbas, Hilton and Ansty to Melcombe Bingham.

By Public Transport:
From Dorchester There are occasional buses from Dorchester to Melcombe Bingham but it's best to take a taxi. The fare is about £12.
