From M6 jct 38 take A685 east towards Kirkby Stephen, go through the market square and turn left at the 1st mini roundabout, signed Soulby. As you leave town take the left fork. At the bottom of the hill, fork right for Moorlands and follow the lane for over 1 mile, straightover the crossroads and take the right-hand turn for Crosby Garrett. Leases is the only farm down this lane, on the right, just before the ford. Alternatively leave A66 at Brough and take A685 to Kirkby Stephen. Turn right at the second mini roundabout and then follow directions as above. Kirkby Stephen railway station is on the Settle/Carlisle line, about 2.5 miles away.
